Dr. Johnson introduces us to Karl Barth (1886-1968) who was one of the most influential theologians of the 20th century. He helps us think about God and Scripture and what it means to be the Church, but above all, he teaches us that Jesus reveals God and that the Scriptures reveal Jesus. He also wrote the Barmen Declaration that opposed the Hitler regime and the churches that were aligning with it.
