What is the central call to the church in the book of James? Humility. Here we look at James 4:13-17 and 5:1-6 and it comes up again, this time in terms of how we make plans and how the rich may fail to exercise it. We’ll see that these words are intended to orient us to God’s path and what God wants for the world.
