Today we ask again what it means to be a disciple – a follower – of Jesus. With the apostle Paul and Dietrich Bonhoeffer as our guides we’ll explore what taking up our cross and following our Saviour looks like at this time and in this context. Bonhoeffer was a pastor/theologian that served the Confessing church in Germany during WWII. He also participated in the Resistance against Hitler and the Third Reich and lost his life in a concentration camp at the end of the war. We tried something new today. We live streamed our whole service. The message starts at 15:15.
Jesus Front & Centre (Part 13): Matthew 20
Jonathan Toews takes us through the story of James + John asking for the best seats and the story of the two blind men asking Jesus for mercy. How do these stories pair? Let's listen and see. https://youtube.com/live/-W-j-jkoy54
