Simeon’s story in Luke 2 is where we’ll find truth and insight today. The Spirit spoke to and through him to Mary and Joseph, and his words, deeply rooted in the Old Testament prophets, speak to us readers too, even now at the beginning of 2023. May we hear them, not only with our ears, but with our hearts.
