We are longing for hope, for peace, for light in the darkness – really, for all things to be made new. What does God offer us when we’re in this place of longing? He offers us these things in a song. The servant songs give us a glimpse of what he’s done, and still doing. The last servant song is the high point of the four – in it we see exactly why the servant came.
